Despite an appeal by the Parliamentarians before the Constitutional Council, the law n° 2020-1578 relating to the conditions of marketing of certain phytopharmaceutical products in case of sanitary danger for sugar beets was adopted on December 14, 2020 and the application order on Feb. 5, 2021. The Conseil d'Etat understands this order as merely implementing a law that has been declared constitutional by the Conseil constitutionnel. The legality of the order is thus not questionable.
