Summary :

The order banning the use of pesticides in the municipality issued by the mayor of Stains is attacked by the prefect of Seine-Saint-Denis on the grounds that this measure is not the responsibility of a mayor but of the Minister of Agriculture. The hearing at the Administrative Court of Montreuil for seven towns in Seine-Saint-Denis which had adopted an anti-pesticide order took place on 2/25/2019. On March 3, 2020, the interim relief judge suspended the execution of the contested order until the court ruled on the merits on the legality of this act. The mayor of Stains announces that he will appeal the decision.
