L'arrêté du Gouvernement wallon du 30 mars 2017 interdisant l'utilisation de produits phytopharmaceutiques contenant du glyphosate est annulé.
No description

Plaintiff appeals to the Council of State against the Wallonne order of March 2017, which bans the use of glyphosate-based herbicides. On 09/21/2017, the Belgian Association of Distributors of Plant Protection Products (Phytodis) and Greenpeace Belgium requested to be received as intervening parties, which was granted on 12/06/2017. On 01/21/2021, the Council of State cancels the Wallonne order banning glyphosate, considering it illegal since it prohibits in a general way and for a consequent period of time the use of any plant protection product containing glyphosate on the whole territory of the Wallonne Region. For the same reasons, the Council of State had already cancelled the order of the Wallonne Government of March 22, 2018 prohibiting the use of pesticides containing neonicotinoids (decision no. 247.769 of 11 June 2020).
