The plaintiff associations claim that the decision to renew glyphosate contravenes European pesticide regulations, which give priority to considerations linked to the protection of human health and biodiversity, and denounce a flawed assessment process of the product's dangerousness by the European authorities. They therefore call on the Commission to effectively apply the precautionary principle by banning glyphosate and, ultimately, to reverse the decision to renew glyphosate.
