August 4, 2016
The last paragraph of article 2 of the law n°2016-1087 of August 8, 2016 for the reconquest of biodiversity, nature and landscapes, the rest of 1° of its article 11, paragraph II of its article 95 and paragraph I of article 125, are in conformity with the Constitution.

83 deputies and 81 senators brought the matter before the Constitutional Council, challenging, among other things, the provisions prohibiting the use of neonicotinoids in the law of August 8, 2016 for the recovery of biodiversity. This prohibition was considered to be in conformity with the constitution on 4/8/2016.
