On April 26, 2023, the Federal Court issued orders regarding the structure and timing of the trial. The trial began in September 2023 and will last 9 weeks. During this period, the Court will have to determine whether glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, is carcinogenic to humans and can cause non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. If it accepts this conclusion, it will then have to determine whether the manufacturers were negligent in addressing the risks posed by their products.
