Negative
The anti-pesticide order issued by the Mayor of Langouët was cancelled by the judge of the Rennes Administrative Court because "the means alleging the incompetence of the Mayor of Langouët to regulate the use of plant protection products on the territory of his municipality are likely to create a serious doubt as to the legality of the order".

The decree banning the application of pesticides within 150 m of homes issued by the mayor of Langoüet is attacked by the Prefect of Brittany on the grounds that this measure is not the responsibility of a mayor, but of the Minister of Agriculture. The hearings took place on 22/8/2019. The contested order was suspended on 27/8/2019 by the judge of the Rennes Administrative Court. After the hearings on the merits on 10/14/2019, the order was cancelled by the court on October 25, 2019. On Dec. 24, 2019, Daniel Cueff is appealing the decision following the government's order that sets the distance for pesticide application to homes at only 5 m.
