Superior Court of Quebec, Canada

02.20.2018, Quebec's Superior Court authorizes beekeepers to bring a class action against Bayer and Syngenta, the main manufacturers of neonicotinoids in the province. Neonicotinoids cause reproductive and behavioural problems, reduced honey production and death, resulting in financial losses for beekeepers. The action covers the period from 1 January 2006 to 20 February 2018. The claim exceeds $400 million in damages.
