Générations Futures is suing ANSES for its authorization of the neonicotinoid insecticide Transform based on sulfoxaflor. On 11.24.2017, the court temporarily suspends the sulfoxaflor-based neonicotinoid insecticide Closer, pending the judgment on the merits of the case. Générations Futures has sued ANSES for its marketing authorization of the insecticide, despite that confirmatory information on the safety of this product on bees had not yet been sent to the Commission. On 02.15.2018, the Council of State rejected DOW's appeal against this suspension order (No. 416395). The same legal proceedings are made against Transform, another neonicotinoid insecticide containing Sulfoxaflor (Ref. n° 1704690)
