MOUVEMENT CAP 21's application is dismissed for failure to state an interest in bringing an action.

In a request registered on December 9, 2005, Mouvement Cap 21, a French ecologist political party, asked the Council of State to annul the interministerial decree of October 10, 2005 relating to the maximum chlordecone content of certain foodstuffs of plant origin. Without examining the merits of the request, the French Council of State declared the action inadmissible on the grounds that the Mouvement Cap 21, "an essentially political organization whose statutes state in very general terms that its mission is to promote humanist and ecologist values", did not have an interest in bringing the action.
