Judicial Court of Lyon, France

Following the discovery of glyphosate in the honey of one of its members, the union The Bee of the Aisne filed a complaint against Bayer and Monsanto on June 6, 2022, for "administration of harmful substances". It hopes that it will lead to the opening of an investigation that will allow to know what rate of glyphosate was found in this honey, if other substances were detected, if this contamination is accidental or not and what consequences it could have on the health of consumers. The public prosecutor of Lyon has opened a preliminary investigation.
