He filed suit seeking equitable relief, monetary restitution and/or compensatory and punitive damages. Due to the very large number of claims alleging that Paraquat caused Parkinson's disease, the cases were consolidated. On July 11, 2022, Dorsey Daniel's case was consolidated with others in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois (In Re: Paraquat Products Liability Litigation v.
