On May 3, 2021, the Ninth Administrative Collegiate Court of the First Circuit had denied the provisional suspension of the decree requested by Monsanto, considering that if the conservatory measure was granted, it would affect the public policy provisions to the detriment of the interests of the Mexican society that the decree was intended to protect. But on July 12, 2022, the Administrative Court of the Sixth District of Mexico City declared the presidential decree unconstitutional, considering that it lacked legal basis and motivation, and that it did not explain the health effects caused by the use of glyphosate.
