They hold Monsanto responsible because it falsely represented that Roundup is safe for humans and the environment and failed to provide adequate warnings and proper directions about the dangers associated with using it. There have been a lot of wrangling about the date and venue for the trial. On Sept. 13, a St. Louis Circuit Court Judge transferred all plaintiffs, except Winston, from the city court to St. Louis County. The Winston case was supposed to begin on October 15 in Saint Louis, but judge Michael Mullen ordered that the trial will not begin as scheduled and cause set for status on Feb 10, 2020.
