It is the first Roundup trial to consolidate different plaintiffs’ claims together, and the first in Missouri. On Jan. 15, 2020, Monsanto's motion for summary judgement is denied. Moreover, Judge Hogan ruled that the trial would be open to audio and video recording and broadcast from its beginning through the end of the trial. After two days of voir dire, 16 jurors have been empaneled, and the trial is due to begin on Jan. 24., 2020. That same day, trial is postponed while negociations about a global settlement out of the court are proceeding.
