No description

On August 6, 2021, a Statement of Claim to approve a class action on behalf of all Canadians diagnosed with Parkinson's after using and/or being exposed to Gramoxone since July 1, 1963, was filed in the Ontario Superior Court.

Two other class actions have been filed in Quebec (n°750-06-000007-218) and British Columbia (n°VLC-S-S-217598). All these actions allege that Syngenta AG, Syngenta Crop Protection LLC, Syngenta Canada Inc. and Syngenta International AG ("the Defendants") breached their duties by misrepresenting the safety of Gramoxone and its principal active ingredient, paraquat, and by failing to provide fair and adequate warnings of the risks associated with the use of and/or exposure to Gramoxone and its active ingredient, paraquat, and the magnitude of those risks.
