The decision to reauthorize cyantraniliprole follows an injunction to the EPA to comply with the mandatory consultations required as part of the cyantraniliprole evaluation process under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). This injunction, issued by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia on November 22, 2022 (No. 21-1270), reversed the previous cyantraniliprole authorization.
