Prosulfocarb is the second most used herbicide in France, after glyphosate. Used in the treatment of cereals, it is a very volatile molecule which diffusion in the environment is uncontrollable. Thus, its dispersion generates a great pollution of the environment and contaminates neighboring crops in a large area, which causes the loss of crops by organic producers who are not compensated because no responsible can be identified.
