On Monday June 12, Le Monde published an opinion column by Corinne Lepage, environmental lawyer and President of our NGO Justice Pesticides. Entitled “Against pesticides, we need to establish health justice in the same way as we have climate justice” (“Contre les pesticides, il faut instaurer une justice sanitaire comme il existe une justice climatique”), it draws on the facts and figures published in the Atlas des Pesticides (Fondation Henrich Böll & La Fabrique Écologique, 2023), with a view to overcoming our agricultural model’s addiction to “agrofinance” inputs, based on the “polluter pays” principle.
